Fashion Reporter New York, New York, On January 24, 2009, Collie Academy held its annual fashion competition. The show featured the academy's senior class. The students presented their best outfits. I thought the weirdest outfit was, light-up sock, pink and purple fly shirt, and frog pants. It was a star-strudded event from judges to guests.

The guest judges were Polly Parrot, a famous designer, Tyra Tiger, a famous model, Tim Tortoise, a T.V. show host, and the event was hosted by Heidi Hippo, a retired model. There were 500 guests including Vera Vulture and J Jingle. Clara Cat, a audience member said, " The outfits are awesome, but my favorite was a pink and lime green striped dress. I hope it wins!"

The winners were, Robert Robin in third with a pink pair of shorts and dark pink shirt, Laddie Lion won second with black shorts and a red shirt and Lizzie Lizard came in first with a hot pink dress with sky blue polka dots. Her prizes were $25,000, and a spread in "Monthly Pets Fashion". She sold five of the winning dress design. It was a great afternoon for everyone.

    Philadelphia Pa, Last night, Lassie, mother of four puppies, had a fire and it blew up her house and nine others. She and her family were sleeping in the family room. She had a fire lit in her fire place. When they went to sleep everything was fine. Around 1 a.m., Lassie, heard crackling noises, so she got up and saw the fire.

    She got all of her puppies out of the house. She called 911, and by the time the firemen got there, Lassie was knocked out. Nine other houses caught on fire. But luckily the neighbors got the fires out.

"The whole neighborhood put the fires out!" said Laddie, Lassie's neighbor.

     Lassie and ten other firemen were admitted to the hospital. The community led by the neighbors are hoping to repair Lassie's house before she returns home. The community is collecting food and clothes for the family. Donations can be made to the Collie Fire House.

I spoke to Lassie's neighbor Laddie and he said "I spoke to Lassie and should be returning home in 2 weeks."
