Real-Estate takes a hit!

It looks like the building boom is over.  Contract companies state the market is changing. High price monkeyminiums and exclusive den communities are being replaced by more reasonable price habitats. Packs and herds are living together more. Everyone is trying to keep families together and share costs.  If you are looking for a new home please contact local authorities to see that you are not building near or on a public gaming ground.

Vacation areas are also seeing a drop in rentals. On the up side, camp-grounds are busy. State parks are seeing a lot more visitors and campers. The National Wildlife Federation is recommending that everyone be carefull of these places during hunting season! A family of deer had a close call last week when a hunting party was seen less that ½ mile from their front door.

Animal rights activist are lobbying to get federal funding for herds and packs in need. No animal should be left homeless no matter how difficult the financial situation. The beaver's union is offering low cost lumber for those in need. The SPCA will give temporary homes to anyone in need. It is not a good idea to stay there more than 2 weeks!

Terrorist Turtles Attack Pirate Ship Killing Captain Black and his Crew!

Last week the FBI was alerted to a terrorist turtle cell operating near the Galapagos Islands. Yesterday, A group of divers found the remains of Captain Black's ship. There were no signs of the crew. The FBI investigation found turtle tracks on the half sunken ship. They believe this to be the work of a small cell of turtles (each believed to be only a few inches in diameter). It is unknown if they pose any threat to the United States at this time.

Captain Black was believed to be carrying a cargo of weapons and earthworms. FBI reports the turtles may be trying to sell the weapons to anti-American groups in the Middle-East. They also fear the turtles may have taken the earthworm for their own purposes. It is largely believed that this particular breed of turtles eat earthworms as a delicacy! Rescue teams have been searching the islands for any surviving worms. FBI states there is little hope for the worms.

The United States is on red alert for any suspicious turtle activity here in the United States. The FBI is asking anyone who sees their turtles acting suspicious, or seen with any contraband earthworms to contact the local authorities immediately. Turtles under suspicion may be taken to a holding tank for questioning. Owners may want to seek legal advice if they believe there turtle has been taken without proper cause. Animal right activists are planning a protest on the treatment of turtles. The protest will take place outside the Baltimore Aquarium.
