Real-Estate takes a hit!
It looks like the building boom is over. Contract companies state the market is changing. High price monkeyminiums and exclusive den communities are being replaced by more reasonable price habitats. Packs and herds are living together more. Everyone is trying to keep families together and share costs. If you are looking for a new home please contact local authorities to see that you are not building near or on a public gaming ground.
Vacation areas are also seeing a drop in rentals. On the up side, camp-grounds are busy. State parks are seeing a lot more visitors and campers. The National Wildlife Federation is recommending that everyone be carefull of these places during hunting season! A family of deer had a close call last week when a hunting party was seen less that ½ mile from their front door.
Animal rights activist are lobbying to get federal funding for herds and packs in need. No animal should be left homeless no matter how difficult the financial situation. The beaver's union is offering low cost lumber for those in need. The SPCA will give temporary homes to anyone in need. It is not a good idea to stay there more than 2 weeks!
