It started with Diesel the dog getting a baseball.  Diesel liked his baseball so much because he got it autographed by Jet Junior.  Jet was a baseball player for DJDI Doggies.  Overnight Diesel heard a noise in his toy basket and when he woke up the next morning, his baseball was gone.  Diesel has not seen his ball in four days.  The following Saturday, Diesel called his friends over to wrestle; Rex and Glowy.  They were in the mud and Glowy said, "Ouch, there is something underneath the mud and it just hurt me."  Diesel stuck his paw in the mud and got a hold of something...it was his ball! Diesel brushed it off and thought to himself, who would have put this here?  It can't be my mom or my best friend glowy.  Just then he remembered that the last time Rexy slept over he made a comment on how much he liked the ball.  Diesel didn't want to accuse his friend of taking his ball so he let it pass.  But Diesel wondered to himself, if Rexy did try and take it the night of the sleepover, maybe he got scared and dropped it in the dirt and when it rained the following three days it sunk deep into the mud.  Diesel will never know the truth but is very glad to have his ball back.
