Cattropollis - The Persian Orchestra had an end of the year concert on New Years Eve and luckily I was there to see it. It was very crowded and no seats were empty. I got a seat though. I was in the second row back and I had a great view of the whole orchestra. Maestro Manx, the conductor stepped out onto the stage and announced the song. It was Bombaythoven's 5th.
Penny Persa on the piano, Tracy Tonkinese on the trumpet, Kevin Korat on the kazoo, Ronald Ragdoll on the Russian guitar, and Stephen Short-hair on the steel drums. The crowd was very anxious to listen to the symphony. As Tracy blew her first note on the trumpet to start the concerto a muffled sound came from the instrument. She attempted to blow the right note again and a mouse popped out of the trumpet. Then all the cats dropped their instruments and chased the mouse. They tripped over the trumpet and ruined the whole concert.
After the wild mouse chase, I had a chance to interview Maestro Manx. I asked him"how do you feel about a mouse ruining your whole concert?" He replied with a wine of words that I couldn't understand. The whole orchestra was a disaster.
